Visit your primary care provider if you have any of these issues:

  • routine checkups

  • preventative visits (annual physicals)

  • medication management

  • follow up visits for illness, injury, or hospital stay

  • vaccinations including flu shots

  • chronic illness management

  • same day appointments

  • sprains and strains

  • minor cuts and burns

  • minor eye injuries

  • earaches

  • sore throats

  • low-grade fevers

  • limited rashes

  • headaches and migraines

Visit an urgent care facility if you cannot get in to see your provider and you have any of these issues:

  • injuries or illnesses that are non-life threatening but cannot wait for a planned visit to your primary care provider

  • sprains and strains

  • cuts and burns

    • for cuts requiring stitches, please go straight to urgent care

  • eye injuries

  • earaches

  • sore throats

  • low-grade fevers

  • limited rashes

  • headaches and migraines

  • nausea and vomiting

Visit an emergency room if you have any of these issues:

  • chest pain lasting two minutes or longer

  • uncontrolled bleeding

  • sudden or severe pain

  • coughing up blood

  • vomiting up blood

  • trouble breathing

  • major burns

  • broken bones

  • signs of stroke sudden change in vision, sudden weakness, sudden trouble walking)

  • any concern that you feel delaying care might have a significant impact on your health
